  1. What is The Hotel Show Philippines about and who participates?

    Our flagship exhibition, The Hotel Show Dubai has proudly served the hospitality industry for 18 years we are proud to announce the launch of The Hotel Show Philippines. The event will be co-located with WOFEX and is a testimony to the stable growth and economic wealth of the region. 

    The Hotel Show Philippines offers exhibitors access to one of the fastest growing hospitality markets in the world, and we look forward to welcoming over 10,000 professionals from across the globe looking to source international products and services across all facets of the industry, including; interiors, lighting and design, technology, catering equipment, leisure products and much more.

  2. Where and when does the event take place ?

    The show will take place 2-5 August, 2017, at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, Philippines, in Function Halls 2-4.

  3. What time can I visit the event?

    The show is open daily from 10am – 6pm

  5. Should I visit or exhibit at the event?

    Visitors to the show are typically Hotel Operators, Interior Designers, Architects, Developers, Restaurant Managers, IT Directors and Chefs, looking for the latest products and technologies for their hospitality establishments. However, the event welcomes all trade professionals with a vested interest in the industry.

  6. How can I register to visit the event?

    To attend the show, you must be registered as a visitor. Visitor registration opens in May. In the meantime, please register your interest to visit. The event is free of charge to attend.

  7. Where can I find the list of exhibitors?

    The exhibitor list will be available on the website from June onwards.

  8. I am a student. Can I visit the event?

    The show is ideal for students focusing on hospitality & hotel management, architecture, interior design and related industries. Colleges/universities looking to visit the show with larger groups must get in touch with Tina Quraishi to schedule a visit.

     

  9. Can I bring my children to the event?

    Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry into the show.

  10. Do I have to pay to visit the event?

    Attendance to the event is free of charge.

  11. Can I invite my friends/colleagues to visit the event?

    Once you have registered your visit to the show, you will be able to recommend the show to friends and colleagues. Your colleague will then receive an invitation from us to register free.

  12. I have registered but not received a confirmation email. What do I do?

    Please check your junk folder in your email account. If you have still not received a confirmation email, please contact thehotelshowmarketing@dmgeventsme.com with your full name, email, and company name.

  13. The email address I used to register has changed/is no longer valid/is not accessible to me. What do I do?

  14. I am a Journalist. Should I register as a visitor?

    To attend the show, you must register using the visitor registration form. However please select press/media under the nature of business so we can issue you with media badge at the event. Registration opens in June.

    In the meantime, please register your interest to visit. The event is free of charge to attend.

    The Philippines has become a destination for high profile events like the APEC meeting, the 2017 Miss Universe competition and more. It is one of the largest markets in Southeast Asia with an estimated population of 103 million people combined with a tourist inflow of 6 million in 2016.

    With foreign visitor arrivals increasing an average of 8% per year in the past five years, the Philippines’ tourism and hospitality industries are set to grow, with a forecast of 234,565 hotel rooms by 2019. While international investors continue to drive the development of the Philippines hospitality market, now is the time for industry suppliers to invest in this lucrative market.

     

  • TOURISM PROMOTIONS BOARD

    It is an opportune time for The Hotel Show to be brought to Manila this year as the country maintains its economic momentum. The Philippine economy grew by 6.8pc in 2016 while the hotel construction boom in the Philippines continues with 50 upcoming hotels translating to 13,334 hotel rooms as of August 2016, according to figures provided by data and analytics specialist STR Global. Moreover, the continuous growth of tourism arrivals has helped propel the projected growth of Metro Manila hotels in the next three years. The Department of Tourism records a total of 5,390,367 visitors from January to November 2016, surpassing the year-end arrivals in 2015 of 5,360,682. This volume is 12.12% higher than the accumulated arrivals for the same period last year.
